Our Physical & Mechanical Calibration Laboratories are accredited by The Jordan Accreditation Unit JAS-AU. The Registration Number is: Cal. 001 and Fully comply with the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for all issued calibration certificates.

1. Temperature calibration and Measuring laboratory, which consists the following:

a.National laboratory for Temperature measurement and calibration

  • Ten fixed-point cells that represent part of the ITS-90 that range from 0.01ºC to 1084.62ºC with an accuracy of 0.01 mK to 40mK
  • Resistance temperature detector represented by standard platinum resistance thermometer (SPRT) with an accuracy of 5mK

b. Secondary laboratory for Temperature measurement and calibration

  • Calibration of IR thermometers with an accuracy of 0.1 ºC
  • Stirred liquid Baths covering the range from -85 ºC to 550 ºC with an accuracy of 20mK
  • Dry well calibrators with range from -95 ºC to 1100 ºC with and accuracy of 0.4K

    2. Humidity calibration and Measuring laboratory, which consists the following:

    • Dew Point Meter (Mirror),Model MBW473 with a range from 5 to 100 % , -20 to 80 ºC, with an Accuracy of 0.3 %, 0.1 ºC

    3. Pressure calibration and measuring laboratory, which consists the following:

    a. National reference standards related to this lab:

    • Pneumatic Dead weight tester that ranges from 8 kPa to 3.5M Pa an accuracy  5×10-5 Pe
    • Hydraulic Dead Weight teste with range 2MPa to 70 MPa with an accuracy of 8×10-5 Pe

    b. Secondary laboratory for pressure measurement and calibration

    • Pneumatic pressure gauge from -0.8 bar to 170 bar with minimum accuracy of 8×10-5 Pe bar
    • Hydraulic pressure gauge from 10 bar to 1000 bar with minimum accuracy of 2 mbar

      4. Mass and Balance calibration and Measuring laboratory, which consists the following:

      a. National reference standards related to this lab:

      • A set of class E1 that ranges from 1mg to 10kg
      • A set of E2 that ranges up to 50 kg

      b. Secondary laboratory for mass measurement and calibration

      • Calibration of weight that don’t follow OIML regulation from 1mg to 50kg with accuracy range from 0.005mg to 1.6 × 10-6mc
      • Balance calibration covering the range 0.001g to 700 kg with minimum accuracy of 2×10-6mc

      5. Dimension calibration and measuring laboratory, which consists the following:

      a. National reference standards related to this lab:

      • A set of gauge blocks of class K that ranges between 0.5mm to 100mm

      b. Secondary laboratory for length measurement and calibration

      Which function is to calibrate less accurate equipment using reference standards including but not limited to:

      • Micrometer that cover range up to 250mm with an accuracy not less 3µm
      • Vernier caliper that covers up to 500 mm with a minimum accuracy of 30 µm
      • Dial gauges up to 100 mm with an accuracy of 6 µm
      • Rulers & measuring tapes up to 2m with an accuracy of 0.25mm

        6. Force, Hardness & Torque calibration and Measuring laboratory, which consists the following:

        • Set of load cells with class 00 that range from 1kN to 2MN
        • Calibration of Universal Testing Machine (UTM) with an accuracy of 0.3%
        • Calibration of Torque wrenches with an accuracy of 0.5%
        • Calibration of Hardness Testers with an accuracy of 1%

        7. Volume for calibration and measuring, which has the following functions:

        • Calibration of micropipette from 10µL to 1000µL with an accuracy from 0.024µL to 2.2×10-5V µL
        • Volumetric apparatus with volume up to 50 L with minimum accuracy that reach to 0.002%

        8. Gas Detectors measurement and calibration laboratory, which has the following function:

        • In this lab, we cover the following gases CO, O2, H2S, LEL, NO2, SO2 with an accuracy of 0.5%

          9. Opening soon in 2022 – Flow and Wind laboratory for calibration and Measuring laboratory, which has the following functions:

          • Air velocity measurement that covers a range from 0.1 to 25 m/s with an accuracy of 0.5%
          • Calibration of water flow measuring devices with a range from 8L/h to 4m3/h and with an accuracy that can reach to 0.5%
